Je těžké psát už několikátý článek o závodech. Popis kdo jak co vylezl je záživný asi tak, jako hlášení teploty vody našich řek. O tom kolik úsilí stojí každý rok závody uspořádat ví pořadatelé své a koho jiného by to zajímalo. To, že každý rok je na těchto závodech více dětí je fakt, se kterým se musíme vypořádat a na který se musíme připravit. Ale proč je to tak, to je myslím otázka, nad kterou bychom se měli zamyslet. A jestli je to tak dobře.
Jistě je dobře, že roste členská základna sportu, který jsme si tak oblíbili. Je také dobře, že místo toho, aby se mládežníci potloukali po sídlištích, jdou na stěnu nebo bouldrovku a trénují. Ale tady začíná první z několika ale, na které bych chtěl upozornit. Tak jak je stále více dětí a mládežníků na stěně, nějak mi jich začíná ubývat na skalkách, skalách a horách. Nezapomínáme trošku na to, že horolezectví je všestranný sport? Nezapomínáme na to, že lezení začíná turistikou po chodníčku na chalupu někde v horách, pokračuje přechodem přes sedlo do vedlejší doliny a potom teprve prvními lezeckými metry na lehkém hřebeni. Učíme naše mládežníky také tomu, jak se mám v přírodě chovat? Učíme je, že lézt venku se dá v každém ročním období? Umí si sami udělat štand a zajistit cestu?
Myslím, že tímto směrem by se měla ubírat výchova příští horolezecké generace, i té závodní. Vždyť sportovní lezení a závody jsou jen jednou z mnoha částí horolezectví.
Rozhodně tímto zamyšlením nechci někoho kritizovat, nebo říkat že sportovní lezení je špatné. Možná to jen já špatně vidím. Ale zkuste se zamyslet nad tím, jestli naše budoucí následovníky vychováváme jako celé horolezce, nebo jen jako zdatné atlety na skalách.
A nakonec přece jen něco k těm závodům. Proběhly v sobotu 16.2. na stěně v Olomouci, výsledky jsou na stránkách ČHS, dětí i rodičů byla plná tělocvična a nikdo si nijak nestěžoval (aspoň o tom nevím), takže závody se vydařily
